April Book round-up #booklove #cantkeepup #timeisflying #mygarden #MeAndMyBook

How are we already in the middle of May? I am sure it was still April last week! Better late than never for a monthly book round-up, I suppose. I have been so hit and miss on social media, well… more miss than anything if I am being honest.

I have been spending more time in the garden, April and May are always busy as we get things ready for planting out. Already had several helpings of rhubarb and the blossoms on the fruit trees have been gorgeous, just keeping fingers crossed that it doesn’t drop.

Wouldn’t be right if I didn’t share a few pics from the garden…

We (ok… it would be me 😉🤣) have wanted to expand my pond for a while now and I finally did it, with some help from the other half. It is still a work in progress and there are still some things I want to do, but there is a pump and filter in there and some fish. I am so happy with this.

The smell from this particular apple blossom was amazing, it’s not a particularly large tree but it has put on a great display.

A good view for a brew and a sit down. Also, some handmade plant supports were made by my very clever brother-in-law. These are still green, so I am hoping that I may be able to use them as living sculptures.

I am behind in the books I was hoping to read, as I write this, I think I am around 8 behind, but I am not worried.

Here is what I read last month…

Many thanks for reading my post, a like or share would be amazing 🙂 xx

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
