Well I think the title of this post is self explanatory so not much to add here really.
The last 9 months have been challenging, to say the least, and I’m ready to take a break and put the blog on the back burner for a few weeks. Five on Friday will be back in the New Year and I may, or may not, continue with the Daily Kindle Deal posts up to Christmas. I’m aiming to get them scheduled in advance but if I don’t, apologies.
I’m sure my daily temptations have meant you’re stocked up with plenty of reading material anyway, and, as Christmas approaches, hopefully you’ll have more books coming your way. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you all.
I’ll probably pop in with a round up post to share what I’ve loved this year and I’m looking forward to seeing what features on everyone else’s ‘best of 2024’ lists. I can honestly say that reading has kept me going this year as it’s been the perfect escape. The difficulty will be picking favourites, but I do have some stand out titles to get me started.
So here’s wishing you all a wonderful Christmas, and if I don’t pop in beforehand, a happy, healthy and peaceful 2025! See you all on the other side.
