This is another Greek Mythology retelling, one of my favourite tropes. I haven’t read much about Hera and she’s usually portrayed as Zeus’s jealous, cruel, scheming and vindictive wife. It was nice to read about her as a fully fleshed out, complex character. I found this book very entertaining. The book touches on some well-known myths. The defeat of the Titans and the birth of the Olympian Gods. The trials of Hercules. Jason and the Argonauts and their search for the Golden Fleece. Zeus creating humans. Prometheus stealing fire from the Gods to give it to humans. I’d recommend this.
