YAY! The trailer for my upcoming early reader graphic novel, Groucho the Grouchy Groundhog, is officially here! The first book in the series is Pancake Panic and it releases July 15th.
Summary: Groucho is one very grumpy groundhog. He only leaves his cozy bed for three things: naps, pancakes, and sarcastic remarks. But one unfortunate morning, his nap is rudely interrupted when his neighbor Blork announces that the evil Commander Hare E. Bun Bun is plotting to steal every single pancake in Critter Creek! For Groucho, this is a true emergency. After all, what is life without pancakes?

Lastly, I wanted to mention some special workshops I just finished. am so deeply humbled and grateful that I get to work alongside the wonderful Nancy Saltarelli, part of the team at Une école montréalaise pour tous whose mandate is promoting literacy in under privileged schools. Nancy bought THREE HUNDRED copies of my book UP, UP HIGH and imagine my joy as I finished my first week of school tours and got to hand out free books to each student I met! These kinds of experiences fill my soul, this is simply what it’s all about…
