Inspired by a photo my wife took of our youngest daughter, Bridgett Brianna, while they were walking on Fort Lauderdale Beach at sunrise.

Sailboats, Key West, 2018
One of my family’s favorite places to visit is Key West. One of our trips down there in 2018, I took photos of sailboats in the area. The overall scenery appealed to me, and so I decided to create a painting with those sailboats as the focus.

The background (the sky and foliage) is from a photo taken in Key West. The bird and tree I created from my imagination.
