Hello, welcome to Weekly Wrap Up (10/06)! It’s sunny here in Edinburgh, if a bit windy, and I think we can say it’s summer soon? You never know with Scotland! Anyway here is what I’ve been reading and enjoying lately!

Books Read

Grass by Sheri S. Tepper

I have had this science fiction classic on my TBR pile for a long time, and I finally decided to pick it up. It took me around 2 weeks to read it, which for me is quite a long time, but it is a dense one! Worth it though, it had a good plot!

Long Live Evil by Sarah Rees Brennan

I was lucky enough to get an eARC of this fun fantasy novel which is published in August. I have a review due on 18th July, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Currently Reading

Broken Hearts and Zombie Parts by William Hussey.

I love Will’s other YA novels, and I have had this one staring at my from my shelves for a long time. Since I’ve read a few fantasies in a row, it felt like a good time for a palette cleanser! I know I’m going to love it!

Watched This Week

Barbie

I know, I might be the last person to watch this, but it’s been on my list for a while and I just didn’t have time. I adored it as much as I knew I would!!

Force of Nature – The Dry 2

I love the books by Jane Harper that these movies are based on, so I obviously sat down to watch this one. It was fine, probably a 3/5 stars, it wasn’t doing anything amazing, but fine!

Shardlake

This has been my tv show of choice over the last week. It’s based on a series of novels, set in Cromwell’s England, and has some interesting characters. I’m not sure if there’s another series, but I would be interested in seeing more. Some weird themes in it which I wasn’t sure about though.

And there we go! Thank you so much for reading my Weekly Wrap Up (10/06). How was your week? Did you read anything good? Let me know!
