Welcome to May—Your Month of Mercy, Favour and Miracles!

This isn’t just another page on the calendar; this is a prophetic portal into promise. May rises like fresh blooms from rain-soaked ground, whispering divine secrets to those who are still enough to listen. It is the bridge between the refreshing rains and the radiance of summer. It is a canvas painted with the hues of hope, healing, and heavenly surprises.

Scriptural Wellspring

> “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.”— Psalm 102:13
“O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”— Psalm 90:14

Mercy is not a backup plan. It is God’s intentional gift to pull you out, lift you up, and usher you into joy beyond understanding. Favour is not a myth; it is your set time. And guess what? The end-goal of God’s mercy is to bring us His favour. It’s God’s favour that enables us approach His presence, just like it did for Esther with the King. As surely as the sun rises, so will the glory of God rise over you this month.

The Miracle-Working Sovereign

From the very beginning, God established the laws of nature, setting everything in motion just as He intended—day and night take their turns, the sun rises and sets on schedule, and the moon follows its rhythm. But there are moments when God chooses to interrupt the norm to reveal His supreme authority.

He overrides natural laws and creates something out of nothing, something never before seen. He takes people from the low valleys of life and lifts them to heights beyond their arms, elevating them from obscurity to significance. These awe-inspiring acts are what we recognize as miracles. 

>”This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.”—John 2:11

Yes, beloved, God still suspends the natural for the supernatural. He makes ways in the wilderness and births beauty from barren ground. The beautiful thing is not just that He does miracles, it’s that sometimes He chooses to do them through you.

>“God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul…” — Acts 19:11

Amazing, isn’t it?🥰💃 May is sure to be a month of unprecedented and undeniable testimonies.

So, armed with the knowledge of all that’s set to be experienced this month, there’s a way to live, a way to align yourself to receiving the fullness of God’s promises to us.

> “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”— Psalm 90:12

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”— James 3:17
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”— Luke 2:52

This is the month to walk in wisdom. Heaven’s kind. The kind that is pure, peaceable, powerful—and pregnant with purpose. This is the month to spend time in conversations and communion with God, sharpening your senses with discernment and direction, so you can make spirit-led decisions that’d cause you to increase in favour with God and men.

Remember: every sign, every wonder, every “impossible” breakthrough this month is the fingerprint of the sovereign Creator. He is free to rewrite the rules for your good and His glory.

> “But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour…” — Genesis 39:21
“And of Naphtali he said… full with the blessing of the LORD…” — Deuteronomy 33:23

Like Joseph, you will find favour in unexpected places. Like Naphtali, you will be satisfied with blessings from every direction. Like Stephen, you will operate in faith, power, and undeniable miracles.

A Charge to Your Soul

> “Take courage, dear soul, as you read these words. Your journey, by God’s grace, is one of faith—and though you don’t always see the way clearly, you are not alone. This has been the same path walked by the greatest heroes of the faith. They, too, lived by trusting what they could not see. Faith was the orbit they moved in as long as they shined on earth. How blessed you are to share in the same precious faith that now crowns them in glory. Tonight, lift your eyes again to Jesus—the Author and Finisher of your faith—and thank Him for calling you into this divine walk.”

Let this exhortation settle deep in your spirit. You walk by faith—not by what you see. The same faith that carried the giants of old carries you now. Fix your gaze on Jesus, and rejoice: He’s already authored every step of your story.  

Declare With Me

I receive mercy early, daily, and in abundance.

I walk in favour with God and with man.

I am clothed in wisdom that flows from above.

Signs and wonders accompany my every step.

This month, I will see miracles that glorify Jesus!

A Prayer for May

> Dear Abba, thank You for ushering me into May. Let Your mercy speak over every mistake and every delay. Let Your favour locate me in rooms I never entered. Let Your miracles mark me for Your glory. I apply my heart to wisdom and open my arms wide to all You’ve prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As you step into this new month, walk boldly.
Heaven backs you. Mercy crowns you. Favour surrounds you. Miracles follow you everywhere. Have a blessed, beautiful, and breakthrough-filled May!
