Gap Factory Floral Linen Pants: Easy Summer Upgrade

This post is sponsored by Gap Factory.

Ah, the summer outfit slump. Is it just me, or does it feel extra hard getting dressed once the temps hit their July max and all the summer festivities are over? I feel as though I’ve used up all my cute ideas, the denim shorts aren’t as comfy out of the house, and I’m trying hard to live in the moment whilst NOT wishing fall upon us.

But I think I figured out the answer to sailing through that slump this year: FUN linen pants.

Summer Uniform Upgrade: The Printed Pants from Gap Factory That Are Somehow Comfy and Chic

When I spied these mid-rise linen-blend pull on pants from Gap Factory I purchased them immediately. They felt like the perfect item of clothing to spark fresh inspiration into my summer wardrobe, while still being a lightweight, breezy option in the heat.

Plus, I’ve been known to score BIG TIME when it comes to pants from Gap Factory (regular readers may recall how these barrel pants have become a top-worn item for me now). Gap Factory really seems to have an incredible grasp on modern – yet incredibly comfortable – pants (and I’m not the only one to notice – the best ones sell out fast).

Any sort of linen or linen-blend pant has been a wardrobe workhorse for me. They’re what I call Summer Sweatpants. I can pull them on when I feel lazy and out of it, but I can also accessorize them to feel like a cute outfit. If the pants feel like loungewear but look presentable, that’s a win!

The bonus of a linen-blend is they aren’t nearly as fussy as 100% linen when it comes to wrinkles. As someone who just spent what felt like all morning and 2 refills of my steamers’ water tank to try and steam one other linen item, I am a MAJOR fan of a less fussy linen-blend.

These pants are incredibly versatile, they work for an upgraded summer mom uniform just as well as they would with heels + a pretty little top for date night.

When you get a summer pant that has a fun or unique print like with this gorgeous floral print, the pants do all the work for you. It’s a low-effort, high-style energy that they bring. Throw on a solid neutral top, grab your favorite sunnies, done.

PS – they also come in a leopard print. YEAH.

To avoid looking touristy, which I know sometimes a louder vacation pant can skew, I like to pair them with my most worn, most loved wardrobe pieces. Think those perfectly broken-in slides or your go-to tank you feel the most comfortable in. And though linen-blend is a lot less fussy when it comes to wrinkles, I’m not personally worried if my pants do earn a few wrinkles – this keeps the overall outfit feeling relaxed and cool.

PS – this black & white floral design is also available in a square neck top, a mini skirt, AND a maxi dress. If you love a bolder outfit, the whole head-to-toe neutral floral look is amazing.

Easy Ribbed Tanks + The Ultimate Hoodies: Gap Factory Has My Fave Wardrobe Basics

I’m a big believer in not breaking the bank for good basics. My favorite, and easily the best quality tees + tanks I own, all come from more affordable stores (I still try high-end basics from time to time and they always get returned). I have this Gap Factory Ribbed Scoopneck Tank in multiple colors. I love that it’s a more structured tank that never loses it’s shape, eveeeen when I’m sweaty.

Remember when I said these pants are my summer sweatpants? I meant it. Paired with the comfiest hoodie, this is my first choice for a cozy vacation morning when I’m hunting coffee by the beach. The pants are loose enough to look cute with an oversized top while having zero saggy fabric in the bum or hips.

And this hoodie? GLORIOUS. If you’re needing a peek into fall comfort, buy this. Immediately. It has the worlds perfect slouch and is softer than 98% of the hoodies I own.

Xx,
Amy
