Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain non-fat yogurt
- 1 (15 oz) can of pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie mix)
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 ripe banana
Directions:
- Add the banana and pumpkin puree to your blender or food processor and mix until it’s nice and smooth.
- If you don’t have a blender, you can mix by hand using a fork, especially if you use a nice ripe banana.
- Combine the yogurt and mashed banana/pumpkin mix in a large bowl.
- Add the honey and stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- Spoon the mixture into silicone candy molds
or ice cube trays.
- Freeze overnight (or for a few hours if you’re making it early in the day).
- Pop out of the molds and serve on a hot day!
If you’re not a fan of bananas (my mom is allergic to them), you can swap out the bananas with other dog-friendly fruits. A few that would mash and mix well include cantaloupe, blueberries, and kiwis.
They may not mash up quite as lovely as bananas do, but they’ll still work.

Here’s a tip for you, if your dog is allergic to dairy, you can use non-dairy yogurt. It’s actually a thing!
I had no idea! Just make sure it’s not soy-based if Fido has a soy allergy.
