Our Tranquil Family Lunch at Farmer’s Table in Tagaytay – Dad On The Move

When you travel to Tagaytay, do try to dine in at Farmer’s Table inside Nurture Wellness Village. You will love the peaceful ambiance and good food.

Farmer’s Table in Tagaytay is one of the most sought-after dining spots in
the city, primarily because of the healthy food selections that they serve.
Not only that, Farmer’s Table also offers popular pasalubong from Tagaytay,
such as otap, puto seko, pastries, as well as essential oils and spa
products.

Family lunch at Farmer's Table in Tagaytay

Honestly, when Mommy Khris suggested that we have lunch at Farmer’s Table, I
couldn’t quite recall where I heard it or if I have ever been there. However,
when we finally arrived there for our family lunch, I realized that it was
inside Nurture Wellness Village and we have been there once, more than a
decade ago, to attend a wedding.

I like the calmness and quietness of Nurture Wellness Village. There were a
lot of plants and trees inside the property, which made the experience all the
more relaxing. Add to that the cool Tagaytay weather, and you have the perfect
destination for a relaxing getaway. By the way, Nurture Wellness Village has
accommodations that are open to those who would like to book an overnight stay
(or more) in the place.

Going back to Farmer’s Table, there were a lot of customers when we arrived.
It was lunchtime and knowing the popularity of the place, we expected the
wait to be long, but surprisingly, there was an available table for us after
just about five minutes of waiting.

When we have settled in our seats, we scanned the menu and placed our orders:
Hothouse Crispy Cauliflower and Broccoli (P275), Spicy Coconut Laing (P320),
Pancit Hacienda (P450), Grilled Za’tar Crusted Salmon Fillet (P675), and
Crispy Pata.

Laing

Let’s start with the Crispy Pata. It was indeed crispy, the skin was not
rubbery, and it was flavorful. The same goes for the meat, which was tender and
infused with flavors. The kids loved the crispy pata, and Miguel, in
particular, was fond of the garlic chips sprinkled over the crispy pata.

The Hothouse Crispy Cauliflower and Broccoli is also a hit. It was
buffalo-style, so the sauce was mildly spicy. I loved the soft crunch of the
batter coating the vegetables.

Pancit Hacienda

I think Farmer’s Table’s most famous and most reviewed dish is the laing. It
looked fancy, served inside a half coconut (not just the shell, but the
coconut meat is included).

The Pancit Hacienda is also something that I’d recommend for those who love
pancit because of it was loaded with meat, vegetables, and seafood.

Lastly, the grilled salmon is perfect for those who are looking for a light
meal of fish and vegetables, but I’d say this is a filling dish because of the
big servings of its vegetable side dishes. The salmon, meanwhile, tasted fresh
and delightful.

Farmer’s Table’s Menu

Farmer’s Table’s Menu is composed mainly of fresh produce from Tagaytay. Their
food selections are composed mostly of Filipino food (longanisa, danggit,
daing, tapa, champorado, laing, crispy pata), continental food (English
breakfast, fish and chips, fries, pizza), and healthy bowls (fruits, yogurt,
granola, chia).

What else to do in Nurture Wellness Village

You can spend time walking under the canopy of trees while enjoying the chilly
Tagaytay air and marveling at the colorful flowers and plants around you. You
can also check the herb garden, swimming pool, or even play with the cats
living inside Nurture Wellness Village.

Again, if you want to spend the night at Nurture Wellness Village, you can
book a room for you and your family.

All in all, we had a wonderful family lunch at Farmer’s Table. Surprisingly,
the food was worth the price because of the size of the servings.

@dadonthemoveph Our hearty family lunch at Farmer’s Table 📍We had crispy pata na flavorful & malutong kaya gustong-gusto ng kids. 📍Tinry din namin yung laing nila, masarap & fancy ang serving though maliit lang ang portion size. 📍Yung salmon fillet is great for those who want a light option. Fresh ang fish, masarap, & delicious din ang vegetable sides. 📍Yung cauliflower buffalo wings naman great as appetizers, di super anghang. Malalaki ang cuts and great with the blue cheese dip. 📍Yung pancit naman flavorful din ang loaded with toppings. Ito rin kid-friendly and approved. All in all, we had a great lunch experience at Farmer’s Table. #familylunch #FarmersTable #NurtureWellnessVillage #TagaytayEats #BestRestaurantsInTagaytay #TaraSaTagaytay #ExploreTagaytay #FamilyTravelVlogger #dadonthemoveph #dadblogger ♬ original sound – Daddy Ivan
