I secured my internship opportunity through a referral.

During my internship, I happened to read a complete set of suit papers that were listed for hearing and had the opportunity to observe the court proceedings.

My primary responsibilities involved assisting the legal team in drafting pleadings and attending court hearings. I gained hands-on experience preparing legal documents such as complaints, petitions, and appeals.

I worked closely with the team to ensure all pleadings were accurate, well-structured, and compliant with legal requirements.

Observing court hearings allowed me to witness the litigation process firsthand. I observed how lawyers presented their cases, examined witnesses, and argued legal points. This exposure deepened my understanding of courtroom procedures and highlighted the importance of effective advocacy.

Additionally, I conducted legal research, analyzed case laws, and assisted in preparing case briefs. I collaborated with the team to review and edit documents thoroughly before filing.

Throughout the internship, I developed strong research, writing, and analytical skills, essential tools for any legal career. I also learned the importance of attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork in a professional legal setting.

Overall, my internship gave me a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process and helped me build foundational skills critical for my future in law.

The work environment was very pleasant, supportive, and informative. The team was collaborative and welcoming, which made it easy to learn and grow.

The senior associate was approachable and offered valuable guidance, generously sharing his expertise and experiences. The office culture encouraged open communication and constructive feedback.

Overall, the environment was highly conducive to learning, professional development, and personal growth, making my internship a truly rewarding and enriching experience.

This internship was a deeply enriching experience that provided meaningful hands-on learning. I developed practical legal skills, gained insight into the workings of the industry, and built a stronger understanding of legal practice.

It was both challenging and fulfilling, helping me grow professionally and personally. The experience has greatly influenced my career goals and aspirations.

One of the main challenges during the internship was the poor work-life balance. The workload was often excessive, with long hours extending beyond the regular schedule.

This affected personal time and well-being, making it difficult to maintain a healthy balance between work and life during the internship period.

My residence was conveniently located near the office, allowing for easy commutes. I had access to public transportation, which I used to reach the court when required. Additionally, I had a two-wheeler for personal use, which provided flexibility in daily travel.

During my internship, I ensured I took breaks to unwind and maintain focus. I learned the importance of time management, prioritization, and effective communication. A key lesson was the critical role of attention to detail in legal work.

I also significantly improved my research and analytical abilities, which will be invaluable in my future legal career. Overall, the internship was a rich learning experience, and I am grateful for the lessons and opportunities it provided.
