How can i see beauty in this damaged soul?
Is it because I’m damaged or do I just have a good heart?
I have so many questions.
But I like to think it’s cause beauty is relative.
You see, I can say a peacock is ugly to me
Whereas it’s the most beautiful bird.
I can find a lizard beautiful
Whereas you can find it ugly.
It all goes down to perception.
So now the question is what is perception?
I have no idea.
Could it be I find beauty in damaged things because I’m trying to show love to something that is hated by all?
But then does that make me a hypocrite or does that mean I’m just patronizing the damaged?
Do I really love what is damaged?
I like to think I do.
Because you see here is the thing about what is damaged?
What is damaged is unique.
What is damaged has a story.
What is damaged has a mixture of light and dark.
What is damaged attracts beauty.
What is damaged sees fantasy.
What is damaged has hope for something better.
What is damaged is strong.
What is damaged is a fighter.
What is damaged is YOU.
