When you make green brewed iced tea do you make it sweet? | Discuss Cooking


In addition to enjoying green, white, and black teas: This is the time of year I plant more plants that I’ll use for herbal tea. I have some chamomile seeds coming soon. I have established echinacea (cone flower), raspberry leaves, yarrow, spearmint, peppermint, lemon balm, hibiscus and probably more. I use small drip coffee maker paper baskets, flattened, formed into teabags, stapled shut and make different combinations of herbal teas.
I also dry orange/lemon/lime peels for that. I’ll be collecting linden flowers in a week or so. I bought an encyclopedia of herbal medicine to help me pick out combinations of calming or healing herbs/ingredients for teas.
