This sophisticated picture book is without doubt an award winner in the making.

“If you turn left at the end of the street and walk for the time it takes to count to 99, you will find a place called “Nowhere in Particular”. So begins this prophetic tale with a strange upright rabbit type creature carrying a spear to pop multi coloured balloons that are everywhere.

The population compete to burst as many balloons as they can and build bigger and better machines to do so.

Then the balloons are all gone and people miss them. This should ring a bell for most people. is there a solution? read it and find out. It is fabulous.

The lllustrations are superb. the best picture book I have seen in a long while.
