Creamy Fruit Salad comes together fast and is made with strawberries, blueberries, grapes, mandarin oranges, and sweetened condensed milk.
A 30-MINUTE 3 STEP RECIPE
I know this salad will almost look and sound too simple – and it is! I absolutely love using sweetened condensed milk in fruit salads because I almost always have a can in my pantry and I can whip this up super fast and it is seriously SO good! This delicious Creamy Fruit Salad is a simple to make blend of fresh berries, juicy grapes, and mandarin oranges. And of course, you can customize this however you like using your favorite fruits – this is less of a recipe and more of an idea.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
You can swap any of the fruit options out. Another simple option to try would be pineapple chunks, blackberries, or raspberries. You could try watermelon, but I would be careful with that one since the watermelon will release a lot of juices. If you’re eating it right away, you might be alright, but if you’re storing leftovers or making this ahead of time, it may become really watery with the watermelon.
Yes, you can! Make it, cover it and store it in the fridge. Give it a good stir once you’re ready to enjoy it again later. Also, keep in mind what fruit you’re using if you plan to make it ahead since some fruit will release a lot of juices as it sits.
Apples naturally start to brown once they’ve been cut open. The oxygen in the air starts to oxidize the apple slices and will turn them brown overtime. If you spritz them with a little fresh lemon juice, it will help prevent them from turning brown. If you don’t want to use the lemon juice, you can just omit them.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days in a covered container.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)
- sliced strawberries – I like my slices kind small. I just don’t like big ole hunks of fruit in my fruit salad – ha!
- blueberries – as I said above, any berry works here. I often make this with blackberries and raspberries 9yum!)
- green and red grapes – I definitely recommend slicing them in half for easier eating.
- large red apple – see my Frequently Asked Questions above on how to keep apples from turning brown. I would definitely use any apple flavor you love. I like Fuji apples but good ole Mcintosh work as do green apples if you like that bit of tang.
- mandarin oranges– be sure to drain these really well. You could also just cut up an orange if you didn’t want to use mandarin oranges.
- sweetened condensed milk – so you have to be careful when grabbing a can of sweetened condensed milk. I don’t know why stores put them so close to the evaporated milk and the cans look about the same size. So just pay attention when you go to grab a can. Look for sweetened condensed milk. It is thick whereas evaporated milk is just a liquid and won’t work here.
- fresh mint leaves – this is totally optional and just makes it look pretty so don’t sweat it if you don’t have it on hand.

HOW TO MAKE CREAMY FRUIT SALAD:
Wash and prepare the fruits. Add all the prepped fruits to a large bowl, along with the drained mandarin oranges and sweetened condensed milk. Toss to coat evenly. See how easy this is?

Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 20-30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
