Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pizza is made with a flatbread crust topped with a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, bites of chicken, melty cheese, and of course, bacon!
A 30-MINUTE PIZZA RECIPE
This Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pizza is a tasty and easy way to switch up your usual pizza night. It starts with a creamy garlic parmesan sauce that takes the place of traditional red pizza sauce then topped with chicken, crispy bacon, and plenty of melted cheese. I’ve really been enjoying these flatbread crusts. I’ve really used them to make so many fun inspired pizzas and it makes it so simple to prepare! When you want a quick dinner (or maybe a snack for friends coming over) but still want something super yummy – this is it!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Sure. If you choose to make just one flatbread, you’ll need half of the other ingredients listed.
Certainly, if you need more than two flatbread pizzas, you can scale this recipe to make more. You may need to work in batches when baking though.
Want to make a homemade sauce instead of store bought – I have a fantastic recipe!
Ingredients:
4 Tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoon coarse kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
To a small pot over medium heat add the butter and garlic. Once melted add the flour. Stir for 2 minutes. Add the heavy cream. Stir until you have a smooth sauce. Add the parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Whisk until fully melted and blended.
Absolutely! You can use a regular pizza crust if that is what you prefer over flatbread. You can use one from the store, or make some Homemade Pizza Dough to use. If you go to the store bought or homemade dough route, I would probably par bake the crust a bit first. Spread it out on a pizza pan or baking pan and and poke some holes in the crust all over and then bake at 475F for 5-10 minutes then top it off with the rest of the ingredients and bake until the cheese has melted.
I like to use a Garlic Parmesan Alfredo Sauce (see ingredient photo below) but I suppose you could use a sauce like the Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce (paid affiliate link). To me, it can be a little spicy and comes across kind of tangy, but if you prefer it, you can certainly use it as a base instead of the garlic alfredo.
My favorite thing to serve with this pizza is a Caesar Salad or a similar side salad as I have shown in one of the photos. If you want to go all out, this pizza would be incredible with a Creamy Broccoli Salad or some Broccoli Cauliflower Salad. If you’d like to really carb it up, serve with some Garlic Bread!
You can keep the pizza in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can reheat the pizza for 5 minutes in the oven or air fryer at 350° F until heated through.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts – you could also use chicken thighs or pick up a rotisserie chicken from the store and chop it up for one less step.
- salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika – this is always my go-to seasoning blend but feel free to use your favorite (salt free blend, lemon pepper, etc.)
- artisan flatbread– See my ingredient photo below. Most stores carry this and there are different brands (I just went with the store brand). They almost always come in a 2 pack and you’ll use both flatbreads. If you want to use a different kind of pizza dough/bread, check out the FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) section above for more ideas.
- roasted garlic parmesan Alfredo sauce – learn how to make a homemade version of this sauce in the FAQ section above, or grab a jar of your favorite sauce (I just used Prego – see ingredient image below.)
- shredded mozzarella cheese – this would be delicious with a smoked cheese as well.
- red pepper flakes – of you don’t want the extra touch of heat, you can omit these.
- cooked bacon – cut into pieces. Use whatever kind of bacon you prefer. You can fry or bake some bacon or make microwaveable bacon. The packs of bacon pieces that you find in the salad aisle of your grocery store would work too.

HOW TO MAKE GARLIC PARMESAN CHICKEN PIZZA
Preheat the oven to 425° F. To a saute pan add the oil over low to medium heat for 2 minutes. Season both sides of the chicken with the dried seasonings. Cook each side for 7 minutes or until you have an internal temperature of 165° F.

Remove from the pan and set aside for 5 minutes to allow the chicken to rest. Cut the chicken into small pieces. Set aside. To the pizza crusts spread on the alfredo sauce.

Add 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese. Add the chicken on top.

Add the remainder of the cheese. Sprinkle the red pepper flakes on top. Add the bacon pieces.

Add the pizzas directly onto the oven rack. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until the underside of the pizza crust is crispy. Follow the directions on the package. I like baking it directly on the oven rack, as the crust will get crispy and flaky. Top with parsley.

Serve and enjoy.

- Note: the photos show the flatbread on a baking sheet. I only used that the hold the pizzas before and after baking. I cooked these directly on the oven rack but you can use a baking sheet if you like a softer crust.
