Come on out on Sunday 26th and see us and support this great event!! . Dan Vogt was an involved member of KCBS and Rocky Mountain BBQ Alliance. In January of last year, Dan lost his battle with Cancer. Dan was a KCBS Rep, Pitmaster, Judge and friend to everyone in the BBQ Community that he came in contact with. As a tribute to Dan and his love for the sport there is a Backyard Rib Competition being run on Sunday September 26th by Proud Souls Barbecue & Provisions. It is being held at Living the Dream Brewery in Littleton CO from 12 pm – 6 pm. All funds raised are going to the American Cancer Society in Dan Vogt’s name. To raise funds there will be a raffle of some great bbq items including grills, smokers, and gift certificates.
