Looking for something different yet crave-worthy? Try these Corn Ribs. They’re corn cobs cut into rib shapes, brushed in oily Applewood seasoning, smoked until caramelized, then slathered in sticky Kinda Sweet Sauce. Add crumbled bacon and parsley on top, and don’t forget the creamy-tangy Sorta White-Kinda Sweet dipping sauce with a cayenne twist. Crowd-pleasing and easy to share.
4 Yellow Corn on the Cob
¼ Cup Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons Applewood
Kinda Sweet Sauce
2 Strips of Crumbled Bacon
Parsley
Set your smoker to 300 degrees.
Boil corn cobs for 10 minutes to make them easier to cut. Let them cool for a few minutes after the time is up.
Cut the cobs into quarters and set aside.
Combine Olive Oil with the Applewood seasoning and brush the mixture onto the kernels .
Put “ribs” on the smoker for between 30-45 minutes (or until they start to curl)
Once the ribs start to curl, drizzle Kinda Sweet Sauce over kernels and let the sauce get tacky.
Take off of smoker, top with crumbled bacon and parley. Enjoy!!
Combine Sorta White Sauce, Kinda Sweet Sauce, Applewood Seasoning and Cayenne in a bowl and mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
