A little bird landed on my shoulder recently and told me to ask Aslan Brewing about its plans to open a new location in Seattle. The Bellingham-based brewery already operates three locations. The Aslan Brewpub and Aslan Depot are both in Bellingham. Aslan Seattle is in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Next up, a new location in Seattle’s Tangletown neighborhood (between Wallingford and Green Lake).
The plans and details are still coming together, and we will share news about the eventual opening as soon as we have it, but for now, Aslan Brewing is ready to announce that it is opening a second location in Seattle.
“We’re excited to be opening a new Aslan taproom in Seattle’s Tangletown neighborhood,” said Sadie Santiago, Marketing Manager at Aslan Brewing. “While we’re still finalizing details, we can share that the space will feature our organic beer alongside natural wine, cider, hard kombucha, and cocktails! We’ll also have a selection of small bites, with more details on the food program to come.”
Two of the three locations, Aslan Depot and Aslan Seattle are for grownups only (21+). The new location, Aslan Tangletown, will welcome the entire family. “One of the things we’re most excited about is that this location will be all ages, making it a welcoming space for everyone in the community.”
The location will seem familiar if you’ve been around the Seattle beer scene for a minute. It’s basically the same location as Burgundian Bistro, an upscale beer-focused taproom and eatery that closed in 2020. Aslan Tangletown is (will be) at 2256 N 56th Street, Seattle, WA 98103.
