Brauerei Rittmayer Hallerndorfer Landbier Hell и Weizen

Rittmayer Hallerndorf

Two new products – Hallerndorfer Landbier Hell and Weizen from the German brewery Brauerei Rittmayer Hallerndorf – have been spotted in the KuulKlever (aka Rest) chain of shops.

The Brauerei Rittmayer Hallerndorf brewery is considered one of the oldest breweries in Germany. The family business dates back as far as 1422. The former count’s brewery was the supplier of the Hallerndorf hunting lodge and Count Kulmbach even honored the brewery with his coat of arms for its excellent beer.

It is now a modern brewery, which was moved to the outskirts of Hallerndorf (Franconia) in 2012. The brewery is still owned by the Rittmeier family and Georg Rittmeier is the brewmaster.

The brewery’s beer range is quite extensive, but I’ve only seen two varieties: Hel and Weizen. Unfortunately, reviews for untapped on Hallerndorfer Landbier Hell are not very good, and many write about the presence of defects.

Hallerndorfer Landbier Hell (Germany, Hallerndorf) – 4,9 / 12 It is a pleasant and fresh hel with the aroma of malt and flowers. The taste is soft, full-bodied, and malty with a slight hint of bread. In the aftertaste, you can feel meadow flowers and the same malt tint. This is a beautiful hotel, which is perfectly balanced and fully corresponds to the style. It is not empty and has its face. The rating is “A”.

Hallerndorfer Weizen (Germany, Hallerndorf) – 5/12 Weizen is a little simpler, but also quite good! In the aroma and aftertaste, you can feel the banana, which makes it greasy (as I like). Everything is in place, maybe only the carnation tones are a little lost. The rating is “B+”.

The cost of beer is 169 rubles, but taking into account the fact that imports are becoming more expensive, I think this is quite a reasonable price.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
