First look at UPP Liquids ahead of its June 5 opening

Bend’s newest brewing venture opens up to the public this Thursday, June 5! UPP Liquids, the company started by Tonya Cornett and the former 10 Barrel innovation brewing team, is opening its doors in the recently rebranded Immersion Brewing location near Bend’s Old Mill District. There will be at least a dozen new beers on tap and an updated food menu.

On Sunday, UPP hosted a soft opening for friends and family, offering up a first look at the refreshed space and taste of the beers, along with tours of the facility. We attended and got pictures, of course!

All the new beers were on tap, and a limited food menu was available for the soft opening; I don’t know if any or all of the items on the menu will appear on the full menu, but it was a fairly standard pub lineup with burgers and sandwiches, salads, and small bites including a large pretzel.

As for the location itself and UPP’s relationship with Immersion Brewing—it’s all UPP now, a full rebrand to feature the new UPP brewing team and beers exclusively. The original owners of Immersion are still involved and now partnered with the UPP team, so there’s continuity in the kitchen and service, but otherwise the Immersion name and branding are being retired and will be phased out completely.

There was a good turnout Sunday night, and everyone was excited about the new company and the beer; I expect this will be a popular spot over the summer after it officially opens on the 5th.

Let’s get into the pictures.
