Summer beer festival season kicks off in a big way with the debut of Grains of Wrath Brewing’s inaugural Legends of the West Beer Fest on Saturday, July 12th outside of their new Washougal, Washington production facility. Grains of Wrath (GOW) is taking the invitational-style beer festival model that has been so successful in California and in other parts of the country to bring sought after breweries and beers from across the country into the Pacific Northwest for this one-day only event.
GOW is a brewery known for their distinctly bold and unquestionably clear and bitter West Coast IPA’s that have earned numerous accolades in the categories such as a 2025 World Beer Cup gold medal for Punchface Imperial IPA, and a 2024 WBC silver medal for Wastelandia WCIPA. Headquartered in Camas, Washington, GOW opened in 2018 and immediately earned a top spot in beer nerds hearts. In 2024 GOW began expanded brewing operations in a new space in nearby Washougal in the same development as the new Recluse Brew Works. That location with a large open wraparound parking lot surrounded by the nature of the Columbia River Gorge and provide an excellent setting for the inaugural Legends of the West Beer Fest.
Legends of the West Beer Fest, a first-of-its-kind showcase of exceptional West Coast IPAs rarely seen in the Pacific Northwest. Held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grains of Wrath– Washougal, this event will feature beer, food, music, and a vibrant crowd of hop lovers.
