Once again, several breweries around the Pacific Northwest are stepping up for Pride Month and have released (or will release) special beers for Pride. Many of these beers support non-profits and other community organizations. I will update this list as I learn about additional beers. Send info via email or DM me on Instagram or Facebook. Most of the images and descriptions were pinched from Instagram.

Georgetown Brewing – Shelly’s Leg IPA

Georgetown named this beer to honor Shelly’s Leg, Seattle’s first disco and one of the pioneering gay businesses in the city. Shelly’s Leg opened in 1973. Though it was closed because of a fire after only a few years, Shelly’s Leg is legendary. Proceeds from Shelly’s Leg IPA will benefit Lavender Rights Project, an organization committed to providing social and legal advocacy for Black gender diverse people across Washington state.

Reuben’s Brews – Crikey Pride

A can of Crikey IPA with a special pride label

“Once again, for the month of June, we’re showing our support for this important cause by giving our most popular beer—Crikey IPA—a redesign that reflects the diverse spectrum of human sexuality and gender. Look for Pride Crikey cans on a shelf near you and know that a portion of the proceeds will help Seattle Pride with its mission to create unity, honor diversity, and achieve equal human rights here in the PNW and beyond.”

Fremont Brewing – Pride, Kolsch-Style Ale

A portion of proceeds help support the GSBA, Washington’s Largest LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce. Available on draft and in 4-packs.

Stoup Brewing – Rainbow Bubbles IPA and Paraderade IPA

Two cans of beer from Stoup Brewing with rainbow-inspired labels

Rainbow Bubbles: “Feast your eyes on a giddy dance of bubbles in every color of the rainbow and enjoy this moderately dry, extremely crushable beer. We raise a glass of Rainbow Bubbles IPA to equality, compassion, and the incredible gift of loving people for who they are. Proceeds from this year’s beer support Lavender Rights Project in their mission to build a world in which the Black and Indigenous gender diverse communities are at the forefront of liberation.”

Paraderade IPA: “We brewed this beer to help fuel the passion for equality and acceptance and also to just have some fun together. While Pride is much more than a parade, we still love a good march down the street. Think of this beer as fuel for your Pride parade!”

Logan Brewing – Heart of Gold

Heart of Gold is a strawberry-mango blonde ale. It’s Logan Brewing’s annual pride beer. It was released on Saturday, May 31st as part of the kickoff celebration for Burien Pride. The brewery shuts down the street out front for the celebration each year. Get the beer at either of Logan Brewing’s taprooms (Burien and Kent).

Dru Bru – Rainbow Rodeo

A pride-inspired can of beer, with a rainbow label, topped with a little cowboy hat

“Saddle up, because there is a new beer in town! Introducing; Rainbow Rodeo, a huckleberry hazy pale ale. We rounded up a herd of huckleberries to give this beer a surge of fragrant aromas, taste, and a punchy color. With a smooth, balanced profile, it is juicy, refreshing, and full of flavor.” Rainbow Rodeo benefits Kittitas County Pride in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Now available exclusively at Dru Bru’s taprooms, on draft and in cans, for a limited time.

Future Primitive Brewing – Queer Beer IPA

Now available on tap and in cans at both Future Primitive Brewing taprooms. The official beer of White Center Pride, with proceeds benefiting that organization.

Aslan Brewing – B Proud Hazy IPA

A can of beer from Aslan Brewing with a rainbow-inspired label

“We’re stoked that B Proud is back for its seventh year in a row. This Hazy IPA has an aromatic punch of pineapple and grapefruit. Flavors of apricot, pine, grapefruit pith, and sweet orange shine through a smooth body bolstered by a high percentage of wheat. A drying bitterness balances the fuller mouthfeel, creating a beautifully balanced IPA.” Proceeds benefit NW Youth Services and its Queer Youth Services.

El Sueñito Brewing – Un Poco Gay

Four people cheers with cans of beer with rainbow labels

“Un Poco Gay Hazy IPA, is a Pride beer crafted to honor the vibrant, diverse tapestry of our queer community.”

Jellyfish Brewing – LGBeerTQ Rye Pale

A can of beer with a very colorful logo

“Enjoy being fabulous while you sip away on this delightfully gay beer! No need to be mindful and demure here, though all are welcome. Smooth and malty, with a spicy rye character. Designed & brewed by our own Gem with pride, for Pride.” ABV 5.3% IBU 33.

Moonshot Brewing – Brewed This Way ’25

A pint of beer against a chalkboard saying happy pride

“This annual beer release was brewed as a blonde ale with Mango, creating a tropical treat! A portion of proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated to BFPFLAG and Tri City Pride Fest!”
