Get Merch, Drink Beer

As Seattle’s Lucky Envelope Brewing prepares for its upcoming 10th anniversary, it is time for some spring cleaning. That’s good news for you. On Saturday, April 19th, the brewery invites you to the taproom in Ballard for a blowout sale to deplete its current inventory of merchandise. New beers are also part of the event. Get great deals on Lucky E merch and dive into some beers.

Of course, Lucky Envelope will also release some beers for the occasion. Two of the three beers are sort of throwbacks. One is a reincarnation of a beer that has not been brewed in seven years. The second beer, a collaboration with Latona Pub, is reminiscent of the gateway beers that lured many folks into craft beer back in the day.

Keep an eye on the event page for any additional details. Here is the beer release info straight from Lucky Envelope Brewing.

Beer Releases

Magic Cap: Apricot Lager – Latona Pub Collaboration
(4.8% ABV) – Our buddy Matt Carter from Latona Pub and Barry were reminiscing about some of our favorite gateway beers back in the day, and they agreed one beer hailing from Vermont featuring a large #9 was one of the most influential. They’re now defunct but that won’t stop us from making a better and tastier version of that nostalgic apricot not-quite-pale-ale, but in lager form. Available on draft and in cans.

Mosaic Hazy IPA
(6.2% ABV) – Mosaic hops are the superstar in our rotating hazy IPA with heavy additions throughout whirlpool, dip, and dry hopping. Expect flavors of apricot, tropical fruit, blueberry, and dank pine. Available on draft and in cans.

Beardless Brewer Red Ale
(5.5% ABV) – In celebration of our 10th Anniversary we are excited to release this throwback. It’s been seven years since this beer was last brewed in 2018 and Barry is still working on filling in 95% of his beard. A refreshing and easy-drinking Irish-style red ale. The delicate character of English malts shine in this beer with hints of sweet caramel, toasted white bread, and a light cocoa powder finish. Available on draft and in cans.
