PRESS RELEASE / May 15, 2025 (Boston, MA) – Night Shift Brewing announces the reopening of their seasonal beer gardens. Between now and late fall, the beer gardens at the Esplanade, Allston and Greenway are an ideal spot to gather with friends and enjoy delicious drinks in the urban outdoors. Night Shift fans and dogs are all welcome.
To kick off the beer garden season, Night Shift is celebrating with the following new and limited releases rolling out to kick off the season:
-
Summer Sour – is sunshine in a can. Bursting with juicy strawberry, ripe peach, and zesty orange for tart yet refreshing sup. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and sour, like a golden hour sunset with an extra kick. Crack one open and let endless summer begin! ABV 6.0%.
-
Fruity with a Booty – an epically fun collaboration with Boston Proud returns. Engaging the LGBTQ+ community through social media, Night Shift and Boston Proud crowd crafted this 5.5% grapefruit beer that is not just flavorful, but symbolic of their collective spirit. It’s both refreshing and tart, sweet and sassy, and celebrates unity and diversity in every sip. From April through June, $1 from every pour and $1 from every 4-pack of Fruity with a Booty will be donated to Boston Proud.
-
Bananarchy – All hail the peel! Bananarchy is brewed with lactose for a creamy mouth-feel and brings sweet banana and clove notes to the frontlines of flavor, leading a full-bodied hefeweizen rebellion against the ordinary. One sip, and you’ll be overthrowing your usual brew in favor of this fruity movement. Cheers!
-
Dog Days – a summery lemon IPA brewed by dog lovers, for dog lovers. It sips soft and smooth, with notes of lemon bars, lemon peel, and sweet pineapple. It bursts with citrus flavors and a pleasantly bright bitterness.
The Night Shift Beer Gardens also offer the brand’s all styles welcome options, including: Whirlpool (Hazy Pale Ale), Santilli (American IPA), Fluffy (Hazy IPA), 87 (Hazy DIPA), Nite Lite (American Light Lager), Day Lite (Orange Peel Wheat Lager), and Lime Lite (Lime Light Lager), rotating seasonal small batches and sour ales, Hoot hard seltzer, Night Shift’s selection of house wines, and non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

Night Shift Brewing has its roots in a small kitchen on Josephine Ave in Somerville, MA. In 2007, Co-Founders Rob, Mike, and Michael began homebrewing at night, making beers for friends and family that they hoped were more delicious than the commercial options on shelves. Night Shift’s mantra is “all styles welcome” – they exist to celebrate and welcome all beverages, all people, and all ideas. Anyone who wants a seat at their table has one. The brewery maintains a relentless focus on the three values: integrity, innovation, and inclusivity.
