Hop Drop ‘N Roll from NoDa Brewing Company is a 7.2% ABV 2014 World Beer Cup Gold IPA brewed withh Citra, Amarillo, and Chinook hop, (nodabrewing.com). This beer came from my local Harris Teeter grocery store. This IPA pours a light orange colo a thick one-finger very slow head. The aroma is of pine, fruit, malts, and bitterness. The flavor is oniony, piney, malty, bitter, fruity, and bittersweet, smooth notes. This has a medium mouthfeel. Then this IPA has a hoppy light fruity finish and a bitter, hoppy aftertaste that lingers for a bit. This is a core staple from NoDa Brewing and It’s an A. I think it is really worth trying because it not over done with lots of expermental hops and other things. It reminds me of IPAs for twenty years ago and that I love.
