Peace & Loaf has launched The Decades – a series of exclusive evening events celebrating iconic dishes and culinary trends.
The Jesmond restaurant will kick off the series in March with two Sixties Nights, offering a nostalgic 10-course tasting menu which will transport diners back to the swinging 60s.
Guests will be treated to a trip down memory lane with inventive twists on 60s classics – from Devilled Egg and Chicken Maryland to Pineapple Upside-Down.
“‘It is a passion project for us,” said chef-patron Dave Coulson. “We want to create unique dining experiences that celebrate the history of British food in a fun and relaxed way.”
The restaurant will continue the series throughout the year, with each event paying homage to a different decade.
