Coming soon to the scenic Oregon Coast will be the fifth location from Pelican Brewing Company. This new location will be in Rockaway Beach, Oregon as the award-winning brewery will soon open in the from Rockaway Roastery location at 165 S Miller Street, just blocks from the beach! The goal is to be open Pelican Brewing – Rockaway Beach as early as mid-August 2025, which happens to still be prime tourist season along the coast.
Situated in between Tillamook and Cannon Beach, where Pelican Brewing already has a production brewery and brewpub, Pelican Brewing – Rockaway Beach, will also join its original location in Pacific City and its brewpub in Siletz Bay. Pelican Brewing is doing one fine job at conquering the Oregon Coast to supply the communities with brewpubs and restaurants!

The new location, just steps from the sand, will offer Pelican’s signature beers alongside a delicious coastal menu. With a smaller footprint than Pelican’s larger brewpubs, this new Pelican location will feature a smaller select menu, family friendly service, and a dog-friendly patio. The inside space will be able to seat over 60 guests, and there will be available seating for an additional 30 guests on the outside patio.
Pelican Brewing co-founder Mary Jones spent her childhood summers at her grandparents’ Rockaway Beach cabin and the area is near and dear to her heart. “Rockaway Beach is a special place on the Oregon Coast, and we’re so excited to be part of this vibrant community,” says Mary. “We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike to enjoy great beer and food, in a casual, intimate setting.”
Pelican is proud to continue investing in Oregon’s coastal communities. The Rockaway Beach location seeks to support year-round tourism for the area, while creating new employment opportunities along the coast. Pelican Brewing is now hiring for the Rockaway Beach location and is excited to welcome a new team to the space.
