This is a Mosaic forward hazy IPA from The Veil Brewing Co. (https://www.theveilbrewing.com) called Master Shredder. I acquired this though a trade with a neighbor. This IPA is 5.5% ABV. I traded Hopfly Brewing Bootleg Fireworks for this. This IPA pours a hazy bight yellow with a bight one-finger white head. The aroma is bitter, piney, and reminiscent of light grapefruit. The flavor is bitter, piney, tropical, dry, and smooth. There is a light pepper note that hits the back of you mouth. Then you come to a tropcial bitter finish. The aftertaste is smooth and a little dry. This is a decent hazy IPA but that slight peppered note holds it back a bit, giving Master Shredder a B-. I would not rule this hazy IPA out when purchasing beer. Also it not so high in ABV like I have been seeing with most hazy IPAs lately, and that is a plus.
