Tröegs Updating Splinter Series Bourbon Barrel-Aged Triple Nator, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Mad Elf Grand Cru & Bourbon Barrel-Aged Mad Elf

Label Text Bourbon Barrel-Aged Triple Nator:

“ This is the mighty, malty and ageable Triple Nator with a bourbon-barrel twist. Munich & chocolate malts, with Demarara and Belgian candy sugars, deliver deep toffee and complex malt notes. Over a year in bourbon barrels adds hints of toasted coconut, vanilla and molasses. Put it in a glass or put it in your cellar. The next chapter is yours.”

Label Text Bourbon Barrel-Aged Mad Elf Grand Cru:

“Since we lovingly call Grand Cru the “Director’s Cut” of Mad Elf, then this is a spirited twist on the tart cherry feature-film. Time aging in bourbon barrels has spliced this holiday ale’s notes of Balaton cherries and subtle spices with hints of vanilla and toasted oak.”

Label Text Bourbon Barrel-Aged Mad Elf:

“In the spirit of mischievous fun that led to the very first batch of Mad Elf, we’ve put a delicious twist on this holiday favorite: bourbon barrels. Inside the bottle, Mad Elf’s notes of cherries, honey, chocolate malt and subtle spiced are joined by hints of vanilla and toasted coconut. Pop one open now, and be sure to save a few for a snowy day.”

Founded in Pennsylvania in 1997 by brothers John and Chris Trogner, Tröegs is driven by a sense of adventure and curiosity.

You might know our Perpetual IPA, the best-selling IPA in Pennsylvania. Or the dark, malty and crisp Tröegenator. Maybe you’ve tried one of the hundreds of experimental Scratch Series beers we’ve brewed. Or taken the “Best Brewery Tour in America” here at our Hershey home.

Whether you’re already a member of our extended family or you’re just getting to know Tröegs, there’s always something new to discover. Crack a Perpetual and stay awhile.

Family-owned. Independently crafted.

In the past 25 years, Tröegs has grown from two brothers to 250 people, but we’re still very much a family business. Because we stay true to our core values of independence and family ownership, we’ve kept the small-brewery DNA we all hold dear.

Perpetual exploration

Our small-batch Scratch Series and 3-barrel Scratch Lab are where we do the work needed to understand the “why” at the intersection of ingredients, technique and flavor.

Local ingredients

We live and brew in fertile central PA, and we’re proud to support our local farmers. Every year, we buy more than 225,000 pounds of local grain, honey and fruit to use in our beer.

Community

From bike rides that fund local trails to new beers that help preserve critical forests, our partnerships improve the places where we live, work and play.
