Some months ago a former colleague was having a layover in Ashgabat in Turkmenistan. And he didn’t have to be there for long before I asked if he could bring with him a local beer. Beer was then sent to the hotel we stay at in Liège and finally enjoyed today. Tusen takk Wollert!
The beer is dark golden in colour with a lot of carbonation when first opened, but with a shortlived foam head when poured into the glass. It smells malty with sweet notes. Taste is also sweet and malty with a short bitterness in the end.
