Big + Baked Chicken and Waffles – Sunrise Flour Mill


Directions

  1. Mix the flour and seasoning in one container.

  2. Crack two eggs into a second container.

  3. Pound chicken flat with a mallet, then place into the dry mix, then egg, then back into the dry mix.

  4. Deep fry until the chicken has an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  5. While the chicken cooks, combine the waffle mix and milk in a large bowl, and whisk together.

  6. Mix in the egg, butter, and vanilla extract.

  7. Let the waffle mixture rest for five minutes while the waffle iron heats according to machine instructions.

  8. Pour the mix into waffle iron and cook according to machine instructions.

  9. Pour the mix into waffle iron and cook according to machine instructions.
