Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground breakfast sausage browned
- 1 small red bell pepper seeded and diced
- 4 cups flour
- 2 Tbsp baking powder
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 8 Tbsp butter cold and sliced
- 2 cups milk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 F. Line baking sheets with silicone baking mats.

Brown the sausage and drain. Seed and finely chop the red bell pepper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in the butter with a pastry blend or 2 knives. Then stir in the milk.

Fold the browned sausage and red bell peppers into the batter – it will be fairly thick.

Drop the batter in large spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the biscuits begin to golden.
