P.s Although Waitrose isn’t a cheap supermarket they surprisingly do excellent reductions throughout the week. We bought a huge lamb joint that had been reduced from £25.00 to £6.00 with one day left on the use by date. But don’t worry about that date, simply freeze it when you get home for up to 3 months. (Just cook it on the same day you defrost it). I wouldn’t go out of my way to find a Waitrose, but if you have one locally, it’s worth checking now and then.
Shopping in the reduced section is a great way to save money, but there are a couple tricks to maximise the savings. I’ve put together a quick guide to saving even more.
Happy bargain hunting Xx
