Central Florida is home to plenty of unique food and drink events, but the Sebring Soda Festival stands out as a must-visit for soda lovers. Held annually in historic downtown Sebring, Florida, this fizzy festival brings together craft sodas from across the country, offering a nostalgic and refreshing experience for visitors of all ages.
A Soda Lover’s Paradise

The Sebring Soda Festival is all about celebrating small-batch craft sodas. Forget your standard cola or lemon-lime soda—this event showcases over 200 soda flavors from independent soda makers, ranging from classic root beer and cream soda to wild flavors like bacon soda, maple syrup soda, and even pickle soda. If you’ve ever wanted to taste unique sodas, this is the place to do it.
What to Expect at the Sebring Soda Festival
Attendees can sample a variety of craft sodas with tasting wristbands that allow for unlimited sips during designated times. Whether you’re into fruity sodas, spicy sodas, or bizarre soda flavors, there’s something for everyone. Many of the sodas at the festival are made with pure cane sugar, giving them a smooth, old-school taste that’s hard to find in mainstream brands.
In addition to the soda tastings, the festival features live entertainment, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and even a Root Beer Float Fun Run. It’s an event designed for both casual soda drinkers and serious soda enthusiasts alike.
Why You Should Attend the Sebring Soda Festival
Beyond the fun and fizz, the Sebring Soda Festival is a great way to support small soda makers and discover new favorites you might not find in stores. Whether you’re a longtime soda aficionado or just looking for a fun Florida food festival, this event offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
The Sebring Soda Festival and the Sebring Soda Shop were recently highlighted in the latest season of HGTV’s Home Town Takeover. This season takes place in Sebring, Florida, and much of the first episode focused on the renovations at Sebring Soda Shop. The festival now attracts thousands of visitors annually, shining a light on the craft soda movement in the United States.

“Sebring has always been a special place, but with the recent spotlight from HGTV’s Home Town Takeover, even more people are discovering its charm,” said Casey Hartt, Tourism Director at Visit Sebring. “The Sebring Soda Festival is the perfect opportunity to experience the energy and excitement of Sebring while enjoying a weekend filled with unique sodas, entertainment, and family fun.”
The Origins of the Sebring Soda Festival

The Sebring Soda Festival originated in 2018 thanks to the vision of Jeff Cannady, the original owner of Sebring Soda & Ice Cream Works (also known as the Sebring Soda Shop). His passion for unique sodas and community engagement led to the creation of this one-of-a-kind event, now a cherished Florida food festival tradition. With support from Visit Sebring, the Sebring Chamber of Commerce, the City of Sebring, the Sebring Soda Shop, and the Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency, the festival continues to thrive and attract soda enthusiasts from across the country. While in town for the festival, visitors can also stop by the Sebring Soda Shop, located on the downtown circle where the festival takes place, to explore even more specialty sodas and enjoy a taste of Sebring’s hometown hospitality.
