Grill up fresh chicken thighs and layer them on this BBQ chicken pizza for a change up to traditional pizza night.

What is BBQ Chicken Pizza
Traditional pizzas are made with a tomato-based sauce, mozzarella cheese and toppings. But BBQ chicken pizza uses barbecue sauce instead of tomato sauce and cooked chicken instead of toppings like pepperoni or sausage.
It became super popular when California Pizza Kitchen added it to their menu. Their version includes smoked Gouda cheese, mozzarella cheese and red onions in addition to the sauce and chicken.
While you can use leftover rotisserie chicken or other cooked chicken, this BBQ chicken pizza recipe shows you how to grill chicken thighs fresh.
