My Thoughts: As with the other books in this series I could not put it down. The story just grabs you and doesn’t let go until the very end. HOLLOW is book three in the Heathens Hollow series and it was nice going back Heathens Hollow to observe the next dangerous ritual, The Hunt. Briar Waters returns to Heathens Hollow to stay in her family’s summer estate. Living with a debilitating autoimmune disorder, her father sends her to the island to rest and recuperate. Out of sight, out of mind, and she is determined to take back her life. Her affluent family never participated in and looked down on The Hunt that happens every year on the island. A ritual that is organized by the owners of The Vault, an exclusive club catering to the wealthy and their deepest desires.
Briar decides it would be fun and rebellious to have a party at the estate with a theme of The Hunt. So begins her entanglement and obsession with Damiano and Flint. Two men with a history together and all the love/hate tension you could possibly want. I don’t want to risk spoiling any of the fun, but I highly recommend checking out the trigger warnings in the book prior to starting (like with any dark romance novel). I hope we get to return to Heathens Hollow again soon!
