The Great UP Run returns on January 25, 2026 at UP Diliman, Quezon City, celebrating community spirit, athletic excellence, and support for the UP Varsity Teams. Following the remarkable success of the 2025 edition, this signature event once again brings together students, alumni, faculty, athletes, families, and supporters of the UP community for a day of fitness and unity.
Organized by RUNRIO in partnership with the UP Office for Athletics and Sports Development, the event offers race categories in 3K, 5K, and 10K — welcoming both beginner runners taking their first steps and seasoned athletes aiming for a strong early-year performance. A true tradition of passion and pride, the Great UP Run continues to inspire runners to move with purpose while supporting homegrown university talent.
