Spice has broken her silence about her health condition following allegations that she suffered a heart attack and was placed in a medically induced coma resulting from cosmetic procedure complications.
The Dancehall artist, whose real name is Grace Hamilton, shared details of her recent health scare, revealing that she suffered a ruptured hernia and that her body went into sepsis.
“Thank you Jesus for saving my life. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Hey Besties I’m in a better space today to properly update you on my current health situation,” she said in an Instagram post on November 9.
“I suffered a damage hernia a few days ago that sent my body into sepsis, as a result I was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery,” she continued in the caption of a picture of herself wearing a blue dress with gold trim as she bowed her head and clasped her hands together.
Spice also addressed rumors circulating on social media in which fans speculated that she suffered cardiac arrest and was in a coma following post-op surgery complications in the Dominican Republic.
According to rumors, Spice got a Brazilian Butt Lift, a popular cosmetic procedure in which fat is transferred from one area of the body to another (also called fat grafting) in order to enhance the appearance of the buttocks. The procedure was not verified by Spice.
