Arsenal ramp up interest in Noni Madueke after Nico Williams snub

The 23-year-old Englishman has impressed in flashes since joining Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023. Despite inconsistency, his tally of 11 goals and six assists in the 2024/25 campaign highlights his growing influence. Arsenal’s need for reliable wing support, especially with Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli struggling for form, makes Madueke an ideal candidate.

Newcastle Join Arsenal in Race for Madueke

Arsenal aren’t alone in the race. Newcastle United are also interested in Madueke as they look to replace Miguel Almirón, who departed for Atlanta United earlier this year.

Chelsea are reportedly open to selling Madueke, valuing him at around €60-65 million, though offers close to €50 million could tempt them. European giants AC Milan and Napoli have also entered the fray, intensifying the battle for his signature.

With Nico Williams heading to Barcelona, Arsenal will be keen to avoid another setback. Whether Madueke stays in London or heads up north to Newcastle could be one of this summer’s most intriguing transfer sagas.
