The most recent addition to Colony (home to some of our SSS Atelier pieces) is Sarah’s Curious Cabinet. Designed by Sarah and crafted by her father, this special piece is part of Colony’s show, THE INDEPENDENTS.
A modern interpretation of a curiosity cabinet, it evokes wonder and discovery. Fifteen individual doors, crafted from solid black cherry, are adorned with rosso alicante marble inlays that hint at a hidden narrative. Behind each door lies a separate, velvet-lined storage space, inviting exploration and interaction. The piece becomes more than just furniture—it becomes an archive of the unexpected.
