My review and thoughts on Cute FACTopia!
Aw, this is such a fun, and of course cute, book filled with lots of fascinating facts and fun images. Did you know that baby owls sleep on their tummies, that the world’s smallest teddy bear is smaller than an ant, or that pygmy rabbits are so small they can fit in the palm of your hand? These facts and so many more can be found in this book with every fact cleverly linked to the next. The hardback is filled with thick glossy pages of some wonderful pictures and interesting facts.

The way the facts follow on from each other but also allows you to veer into another topic rather than continue in page order makes diving into this book extra fun and I just love all the cute facts we learn in this book with many of them being things I didn’t know. While a good chunk of facts in the book are about animals, a lot of them aren’t and focus on other things like planets, the weather and more. But each fact has a cute factor and these facts are made even more fun (and cute) with the lovely illustrations and pictures.
Every page and almost every fact is accompanied by an illustration or picture helping you to think about that fact and remember it. I love the mix of media used in so many pictures with some of them being fun illustrations while some will be photos, often with an illustration on top or around it, making each image look so much more fun than it would without the illustrations. Having all the facts surrounded with so many pictures really makes this book a very fun and easy read and I have to say that it’s a great book for any kids who are reluctant to read books as the small amount of text on each page makes it easier to read and enjoy without feeling overwhelming.
Overall this is a great book and one I’d recommend to everyone. It’s a fun book with some really fascinating facts and especially good if you enjoy all things sweet and cute. The whole book, including the end pages, is so fun to look at and the things you learn are interesting and could spark an interest in kids to want to learn more in the future. A lovely and fun book for all readers.
