We got an invite from F1 Hotel Manila in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, to try their Weekend Lunch Buffet at F All Day Dining Restaurant located on the 3rd floor.
Since August is celebrated as Buwan ng Wika in the Philippines, F1 Hotel Manila BGC came up with a nice Filipino twist for its Weekend Lunch Buffet. As each week, they feature different regional dishes from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, highlighting the diverse flavors of the Philippines.
The Filipino-themed Weekend Lunch Buffet runs every Saturday and Sunday at PHP2,299 per person or get a great value at PHP1,379 per person on Hot Deals. It starts from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM only.

After trying almost all their dishes, my top food choices and must-tries at the buffet are the Chicken Halang-Halang, Alimasag with Alavar Sauce, Kadios Baboy Langka (KBL), Beef Kulma, and Laing.

They also have a cold seafood section where you can choose from crabs, clams, and shrimp and have them cooked to your liking. Almost all the customers had theirs cooked seafood-style with butter and garlic.
Oh, the Passion Fruit Juice is also a recommended drink. They also have Sago’t Gulaman, while the Filipino dessert selection offers plenty of choices for diners to enjoy.

What also surprised us was the grilling area, where you can choose from pork, chicken, and even pompano, a premium fish that you can have it grilled fresh for you.
Now leading the kitchen and taking care of the dishes is Chef Billy Laigo, whom we had a short chat with about the food prepared for the buffet. Chef Laigo shared that some ingredients are sourced from the regions themselves to give the dishes a more authentic taste.
He also added that the menu will not be the same every week. Some dishes may stay, while new ones are add in, giving customers something new to look forward to and another reason to come back to F1 Hotel Manila every weekend.

Families dining at F1 Hotel Manila’s Weekend Feast and Craft Lunch Buffet can also enjoy a free Kids Art Session in partnership with Enigma Art Tutorial, bringing Filipino flavors and family-friendly fun together in the heart of BGC.
The Enigma Art Tutorial team will guide and teach your kids how to paint using a variety of sample artworks they can follow. After the session, they can take their finished artwork home.

In general, I really enjoyed the Weekend Lunch Buffet at F1 Hotel Manila. There was a good variety of Filipino dishes to choose from, and I liked how the menu highlights flavors from different parts of the country. The dining area is also very spacious and comfortable, making it a nice place for families and groups to enjoy a weekend meal.
Kudos to the staff! They were attentive, approachable, and always greeted us with a smile, making the dining experience even more pleasant.
Oh I also would like to commend Chef Laigo who was very cordial and helpful, especially when I asked about the dishes I was trying for the first time. Even while he’s busy in the kitchen, he took the time to explain each and share more about it.
So, if you’re looking for a weekend buffet with a Filipino touch with your family or friends, this one is definitely worth trying.
