Greek night coming up at Carruthers & Kent

Maybe it’s the Odysseus effect, but it seems Greece is having something of a moment right now. Ever the tastemakers, Gosforth’s enoteca, wine shop and deli Carruthers & Kent have all the right ingredients for a Greek odyssey of their own, and their Greek Night on Wednesday 9 September hosted by Steve Day is designed to introduce you to some of the best Greek wines on the market. Learn about indigenous grapes, taste wines from across the country and indulge in a few tasty snacks too.

The event starts at 7pm, and tickets cost £35. We have been assured there’ll be no plate smashing!
