
Hyundai has announced specifications and prices for its latest electric SUV, the Ioniq 9.
Coming in above the Ioniq 5 and 6 in Hyundai’s EV lineup, the Ioniq 9 is built on the E-GMP platform and is available with a 110-kWh battery pack.
Pricing starts at £64,995 for the entry-level Premium rear-wheel-drive model, which delivers 218 PS and a WLTP-certified range of up to 385 miles.
More powerful variants include the Ultimate and Calligraphy trims with all-wheel drive, offering 307 PS from £73,495 and £75,795 respectively.
At the top of the line, the Calligraphy model has 427 PS and comes in both six- and seven-seat configurations, priced at £78,595 for the premium six-seater version.
This model accelerates from 0-62 mph in 5.2 seconds, balancing performance with practicality.
Targeted primarily at families, the Ioniq 9 offers flexible seating for six or seven occupants through three rows of seats.
Technology includes a dual 12.3-inch panoramic display setup with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Hyundai’s AI Assistant powered by generative AI technology, and a 60/40 split folding system to maximise interior versatility.
