Peritect 360 IC is a broad-spectrum insecticide that qualifies for exemption from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency registration under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Section 25(b), which covers minimum risk pesticides. These products are considered to pose minimal risk to human health and the environment when used as directed.
The launch follows the 2022 acquisition of a stake in Pertinent Eco-Solutions by Liphatech’s parent company, De Sangosse, based in France. That investment led to an exclusive licensing agreement for insecticidal formulations from Pertinent.
“Our customers increasingly look for environmentally conscious solutions,” said Matt Titshaw, business manager at Liphatech. “Minimum risk products offer options that align with those values.”
Peritect 360 IC is a liquid concentrate containing geraniol, sodium lauryl sulfate, cornmint oil and clove oil. It can be used both indoors and outdoors against a range of crawling and flying insects, including ants, bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas, flies, mosquitoes and spiders.
The product is labeled for use in various sensitive environments such as homes, daycare facilities, hospitals, hotels, offices, parks, restaurants and schools. It is also permitted for use in fogging and automatic spray systems, with the exception of Connecticut.
In developing its insect control line, Liphatech drew on internal expertise that includes former pest management professionals and associate certified entomologists.
Peritect 360 IC is the first in a series of insect control products expected from the company in the coming months.
