This article first appeared in Santé Magazine on June 2025

Summer’s here, and let’s be honest—hydration is important, but rosé is essential. Whether you’re lounging like royalty on a beach towel in Saint Tropez or grilling burgers in flip-flops in your backyard, rosé is the ultimate warm-weather wingman. It’s light, crisp, and refreshingly easy to drink, with fruity flavors that practically scream vacation mode. But don’t let the pink fool you—rosé isn’t all fun and floaties. These wines can range from breezy and casual (hello, porch pounder) to seriously complex and luxurious, crafted to impress even the snobbiest of wine snobs. Still or sparkling, French or far-flung, rosé comes in more styles than your summer wardrobe. So go ahead—pour a glass and make this the rosé-tinted season you deserve.
