team360 is an incredible group of people who live and breathe peer-to-peer fundraising events right alongside us. Without this team, we couldn’t produce the 100+ events on our roster each year. Our latest spotlight highlights a team360 veteran, Grace!
How did you find out about team360? I saw the opportunity via LinkedIn for a niche role for a client in 2024, a Stage Production Manager for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day. I am a stage manager by trade but have a deep passion for nonprofit work due to my college minor being in Social Entrepreneurship and Business. Working as part of team360 was the first chance I had to merge my two skills. From there, I was hooked!
What sparked your interest in signing up? After the 2024 events, I knew I had to keep coming back and fill other roles. The Event 360 team is full of employees who are people-focused, energetic, and kind-hearted. They are the kind of people you want on your side during difficult moments on an event. I wanted to continue learning from them!
How many events have you worked with team360? I have worked on six events with team360, but am looking forward to many more!
What are your favorite things about working on team360? Working alongside reputable nonprofits who are really making a change with their missions is irreplaceable. Everyone I’ve worked with at Event 360 is not only fun to work with, but they are hard workers who commit until the job is done. I also love the flexibility that team360 provides as a “side gig.”
What would you say to someone who is interested in learning more about joining but hesitant? Just do one! It’s usually a fast and furious weekend and you’ll know if it’s right for you by the end of it.
Three words to describe team360? Fun, mission-focused and heart-led.
Have you learned any new skills? Vendor coordination!
Favorite team360 Memory? Those wicked early mornings before the event starts, where we huddle up to discuss the day-of plan one more time. There’s always electric energy that provides me with a sense of determination to get the job done well!
What three things do you always carry with you on event? Belt bag, rain jacket, sunscreen stick.
