Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Eintracht Frankfurt striker Younes Ebnoutalib as a transfer target, according to TEAMtalk.

Who Is Younes Ebnoutalib?
Frankfurt signed the 23-year-old in January after he impressed for SV 07 Elversberg in the 2. Bundesliga. Injuries slowed his adaptation at the Deutsche Bank Park, but he has flourished this term.
Ebnoutalib has scored five goals and provided two assists in five appearances across all competitions, including a hat-trick against Union Berlin on the opening weekend. Those numbers have earned him a Germany call-up from Jurgen Klopp for the September and October internationals.
Spurs Face Competition for Ebnoutalib
TEAMtalk claims Tottenham are taken by his rapid progress and could make a formal approach next year. However, Brighton and Hove Albion and Everton are also understood to be tracking the forward closely.
Frankfurt hold the upper hand, with the 6ft 3in right-footer tied to a contract until 2031, so suitors should expect a hefty asking price.
Why Tottenham Need Striking Reinforcements
Ebnoutalib is quick, strong and commanding in the air, while also linking play well, working hard off the ball and showing a poacher’s instinct in the area.
Spurs endured a dreadful two seasons, prompting the signing of Omar Marmoush this summer. Yet the Egyptian has made a sluggish start, and Roberto De Zerbi’s options are limited, with Dominic Solanke and Richarlison the alternatives. De Zerbi has reportedly made it clear Richarlison won’t feature again this season, and Solanke has yet to find his best form since arriving from AFC Bournemouth.
Our View on the Potential Deal
In our opinion, a fresh, physical centre-forward makes sense, provided Ebnoutalib sustains this level. Five games is a small sample, though, and Frankfurt’s long contract means Spurs must be ready to pay a premium. January or next summer? Time will tell.
