Pumpkin Apple Muffins is my recipe of the day with the blogging group Muffin Monday. We group up on the last Monday of the month. And we share our best, latest and most delicious muffins yet. This week is likely full of muffins perfect for sharing in November. I know mine are!
These moist muffins are filled with canned pumpkin puree, chopped apples and pumpkin spices. They have a perfect flavor for our weather and upcoming holidays. Whether you enjoy them for breakfast, with afternoon tea, or even as a hostess gift for an invite to Turkey Day dinner.

Pumpkin Apple Muffins
Pumpkin Apple Muffins are moist and delicious, filled with pumpkin, fresh apple, and pumpkin spices for a real autumn treat.
- 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 large tart apple peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Prepare a 16 cavity muffin tin by either spring with Baker spray or lining with paper muffin cups.

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl, making a well.

Whisk together wet ingredients then pour those into the well and mix until lightly combined.

Fold in the Apple then divide batter among the muffin cups.

Bake for 25 minutes until they test done with a toothpick.

Cool on a wire rack.
